Private Lessons

San Jose Batting Cages believes that every player should have great training assessable to them regardless of their financial situation.  No young player should be without the tools to learn and be the best they can be.  It's because of our commitment to accessibility to everyone we have lesson options as low as $10 per player for group lessons;.  Private lessons start as low as $40 while other facilities charge as much as $140 hour.  To learn more about our lessons please contact Mike Mak @ MIkem@SJBattingcages.com

Chris Bradley

Sobrato High School/ Morgan Hill (2009-2010)-2 year Varsity
Coach Bradley attended and graduated from Ann Soborto High School in Morgan Hill in 2010. During Bradley’s time at Sobroto, he was 1st Team All-Conference, 1st team All-CCS and 1st team All-State in 2009 and 2010. Coach Bradley’s was named MVP of the Mount Hamilton Division his
Senior Year(2010).


Gavilan Junior College (2011-2012) 
-During the 2012 campaign at Gavilan College (JC in Gilroy, CA), Bradley was named 1st team All-Conference and Pitcher of the year for Northern California where he set the Junior College State Strikeout Record with 103k’s in 90 innings.
-During the 2012 campaign at Gavilan College (JC in Gilroy, CA), Bradley was named 1st team All-Conference and Pitcher of the year for Northern California. 


New Mexico (2013-2014)

Coach Bradley was a left-handed pitcher for New Mexico State his Junior and Senior year. (Year: 2013 & 2014). During his first start as an Aggie, versus UW-Milwaukee (Feb. 15), Bradley pitched five strong innings, only allowing two runs, one earned, while striking out a season-high seven batters, a feat he would accomplish again at Texas Tech (Apr. 23). Bradley also closed out the season strong, picking up NM State’s final victory of the season, a 4-0 victory over Seattle U (May 17). Bradley went 6.1 innings versus the Redhawks en route to a three-hit, six-strikeout shutout.

Micky Thompson

Century High School/ Oregon (16'-20)-4 year Varsity
-2020 Team captain as a Senior
-2019 (Junior) All-State 2nd Team as an outfielder
-2020 (Senior) All-State 2nd Team as an outfielder & 1st team All-League Pitcher and Outfielder
-2020 (Senior) Named Preseason All-American West Region Honorable Mention and Pacific Conference Pitcher of the Year after going 8-1 with a 0.88 ERA and 98 strikeouts and just 20 walks
-Named to Oregon All-State First Team and All-Pacific First Team as an outfielder after hitting .333 with three homers and 10 RBI
-Selected to the Kansas City Royals Area Code Team
-Rated in Perfect Game Top 500, rated eighth-best prospect in Oregon including second-best left-handed pitching prospect in Oregon


Washington State (2020 & 2021)  
-Appeared in six games, one as a starter (2021)

San Jose State (2022-2024)

2022-Appeared in 16 games 
2022 Finished the season with 48.1 innings pitched and 46 strikeouts
2023-Saturday Starting Pitcher for SJSU
2023-Help lead SJSU to 1st ever conference championship
2023-Pitched 6.0 scoreless innings, earning the win over Fresno State (March 4)
2023-Recorded six strikeouts in three of his first nine games
2023-Second Team All-Mountain West (2023) w 3.81 ERA
