Megan Ink is entering her second year as assistant softball coach for the SJCC Jaguars. Megan comes to this coaching staff with a great deal of knowledge and experience. Megan spent 10 seasons as an assistant coach for Eastern Kentucky University where she assisted in all aspects of the game.

While at San Jose’s Piedmont High School she lead the Mustangs to 2 CCS appearance including a 2-1 loss in the championship game vs Gilroy.  At Piedmont she was recognized with All-Conference Honors,  After graduating from Piedmont Hills High School, Ink played two seasons at SJCC where she was named First Team All Conference, selected to All-Northern California Team and helped lead the team to the Conference Championship in 2000.  As a sophomore she was named the team’s MVP.

After receiving her degree from SJCC she received a scholarship and transferred to Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) where she was part of the 2002 OVC championship team. The Colonels advanced to NCAA Regionals where they eventually lost to UCLA to knock them out of Regional play.  As the starting catcher for the Colonials she was behind the plate for 96 of 98 games during her career and only made 3 errors in her 2 year career.  She was also named to the Ohio Valley Conference 2nd Team.

Upon graduation she began her coaching career at EKU. In 10 seasons, Ink helped the Colonels to four top-four finishes in the Ohio Valley Conference, including an OVC championship in 2004. She also spent 2 years as the head coach for the 16U travel team KY Xtreme.
